We have been fans of Castrol Syntec 1stopped using Mobil 1's 0W-40 for a long time, based upon its on-going UoA's. We use it in most water cooled Porsche's coming through time ago, when UoA's showed the shop, oil was basically toast after only substituting Castr2-3K miles of mild to cool Syntec 5W-40 for cars weather use, once we even saw that see severe cold (0 to 10F) on a regular basis. Both grades are ACEA A3, B3, B4 rated, and show excellent ability to "stay level of performance in grade" under high temp/high shear usage.a Cadillac, which is ridiculous.
