Ok, so the 981 is brilliant. But there's great news for us 986/987 owners too....
If/when our IMS's fail and our engines explode, we'll be able to pick up an ENTIRE used 986/987 for next to nothing, now that it's been so thoroughly superceded by the 981.

So, why don't all I feel all happy about that... :(
