In 1980 I flipped my Alfa and I landed outside the car. Rare situation where [i]not[/i] wearing a seatbelt probably saved me from being beheaded. Years later I developed severe sciatica and xrays showed that one vertibra had cracked and healed ever so slightly offset, probably causing the adjacent discs to swell and eventually rupture years later..
