HELP! Rear trunk won't open nightmare
This one hurts so bad I could scream. I have a 2000 base Boxster. While trying to repair a broken trunk release cable (the one activated by the key fob) I disconnected the other cable--the one operated by the pull handle under the driver's door. You guessed it--I proceeded to accidentally shut the rear trunk. Now what do I do? Neither cable is connected to the trunk release mechanism. I understand there might be an emergency cable pull under the left rear wheel well but is that linked to one of the disconnected cables? What are my options????
