Well, PDK is a long way from the old slushboxes, and Launch Control could satisfy the dragster temptation. That said, manual transmission is still more in line with the traditional Porsche quality of driver involvement and driver-vehicle communication. For that matter, the e-steering, while losing perhaps the nth degree of sensitivity (yes, another great Porsche quality,) its "real world" imbuement of directional stability under severe braking is a huge plus. ("μ-split steering torque recommendation" )
