Actually, the Z06's driver had the best (racing) line.
The GT3 was running the DE line.
Also, when the GT3 came onto the track (at the start of the video) it had cold tires while the Z06 was already on warm tires, yet he got caught.
No question in a straight line the Vette is faster, but can it break brake and turn as good as a GT3?
Heat robs Corvettes of their top-end power. That used to be the case, but I think they figured it out for the new batch.

PS: Gary, don't cancel your GT3. You' could be faster than most Boxsters ;)
