I just jumped in with you with yesterday's oil change, so we'll see how it goes (formerly M1 0W40). I was wanting to bump up a little bit on the viscosity as I just passed 90,000 miles plus it doesn't get that far below zero in the winter here.
Also in the back of my head, 30 years ago I had a shiny new RX-7 that burned oil of every kind until I put in until I tried Castrol - and then the oil consumption of that Wankel engine just stopped. So I have a soft spot for Castrol for reasons that have nothing to do with conditions thirty years later.
/side note: I traded off that RX-7 for a brand new 924 Turbo in 1983.
Also in the back of my head, 30 years ago I had a shiny new RX-7 that burned oil of every kind until I put in until I tried Castrol - and then the oil consumption of that Wankel engine just stopped.
