Imgur not accepting an MP4 (1 reply)

I was hoping to post a 10 second, 25.5 Mb video, but Imgur won't accept the original iPhone file, nor subsequent shortened and/or converted via iMovie files. The are grayed out in the Upload browsing panel's "suppported files" list. (Latest Macbook Air, Monterey 12.2.1, and all other apps up to date.)

Is there a comprehensible, non-kludge (remember that word?:) ) workaround? Please keep in mind I flunked out of MIT and Cal Tech. :)o Tinypic's gone, and other hosting sites I'm aware of are too invasive or annoying with ads.

Technical question about sorting when logged in (2 replies)

(Pedro, I recall inquiring about this some time ago, and the issue seemed to have resolved itself, but now it's back.)

It used to be when I logged in, whatever the latest entry, whether a new topic or a reply, that thread would go to the top of the Main Forum when returning to the Main Forum. In other words, the sort order "rule" was the same, logged in or not. Lately, after logging in to post a response, the thread drops down somewhere that may even require doing a Search to find again. After posting, and going back to the main thread (still logged in) the thread is still somewhere else; not at the top.
I've tried various options in the Control Center with no effect, other than what their intent is.

Any tips as to what needs to be reset? Could it be a setting or settings on my Mac?

As I rarely post via my iPhone, I can't readily say if the problem occurs there, too.

A FAQ section would be useful (1 reply)

I've found out recently through questions posted on the main forum there are areas not covered, or covered in error, in the owner's manual. Specifically, although the manual recommends a brake fluid change every two years, there is no mention of bleeding the clutch. Also, the manual recommends consulting the dealer in the event of "marked loss of coolant" without defining how much that might be. Pedro let me know that the cooling system should be maintenance free. This is not an issue for Porsches alone. I had a BMW Z3 for eleven years, and learned via forums that the water pump should be replaced every 30K miles as a preventative measure, and that the "lifetime" transmission and differential fluids should be changed every 30K miles. I'm not sure what the interval should be for transmission fluid change for the Boxster, or what the best fluid might be.

In general, I'm thinking of a section where best practices would be listed, and information not covered in the owner's manual could be provided.

Steve
