<title>Re: Rms in 996</title><link>https://pedrosboard.com/read.php?7,57278,57282#msg-57282</link><description><![CDATA[ Because it sat for 2 years, the RMS is warped a bit and no seal restorer will fix that.<br />I don't think it will hurt though.<br />The RMS warps when it sits in storage because the seal doesn't sit perfectly perpendicular to the shat (on purpose).<br />The insertion toll has a slight inclination which, during long-term storage tends to make the RMS' center oval instead of circular.<br />If driving it for a while doesn't help, replacing will be the only true fix.<br />Happy Porsche'ing,<br />Pedro]]></description>
