Were you able to take any pics of the routing of the hoses to and from the oil cooler?

As far as I've been able to tell, it looks like the '97's and the '98's had an extra metal nipple that came out near the top of the oil pump housing and that hose went from there back towards the coolant tank but that before that hose got to the coolant tank, it may have been joined by a "Tee" so that it could also be connected to the hose from the top of the oil cooler.

Does that sound right to you?

... but my 98 as far as I recall didn't have it.
It's been about 6 years since i replaced the (small) oil cooler to the one from the S which is twice as large.
I'll try to see if I took any pictures when I was doing the mod and will post them here.
