No fancy numerology ala Pedro, but captured the moment just the same. 1999 with original engine, clutch and seals. I have replaced a failed AOS, Water Pump, Coolant tank and performed routine maintenance. I've always used Mobil 1 and up until 75k did oil changes at 15k intervals, since then I have bumped it up to 7.5k. Looking forward to the next 100,000! smileys with beer

I've NEVER used the Litronics washer system and while driving down the freeway I accidentally engaged it, spraying my newly washed car in the process. I must have caused a hose to pop off and now the fluid runs straight to the ground. Someday I'll pull off the fender liner and/or trunk liner and track down the leak. Until then I see a small circle of black tape in my future. smiling smiley

Sounds like you've used your headlight washer system as often as I have. Tried it once and decided that it would do well as a quicky car wash. grinning smiley I think the wheels and bottom of the bumpers where the only parts not sprayed.

That's actually fast. At the rate I driven my car, it'll take me 15 years to join the club, and mine's a daily driver, too.

Mine is a daily driver as well. My commute has varied over the years, for most of the ownership it was ~5 miles each way. Recently my commute jumped to 25 miles each way, so I jumped on the train and it took months to go from 98k - 100k.

Well, like the Boxster, at least your new ride also corners like it's on rails the finger smiley That must be a huge adjustment in terms of commutes. Mine is 4 miles each way, well, every so often longer this time a year to help stretch out top down enjoyment.

I drove the 25 miles for the first year, then had the car down for repairs and was forced to try the train. I can walk to the train station and my employer runs a free shuttle to and from the end station, so it became a no-brainer.

When gas was $3/gal, it was break even... not including the cost incurred for tires, oil changes and other wear & tear a thousand miles a month put on the Boxster. At $4+/gallon, I almost break even adding in the 2 Nook books a week I buy. grinning smiley
