"Everyone is faster, but no one is cooler." (NBC)

We occasionally get a compliment when out in our 2003 S, but we just about always get a comment when we are out and about in our restored 1978 VW Westfalia (with 67 hp of fuel-injected fury). Today, a couple approached us in a parking lot when we were getting into our bus and had the above to say. Best automotive compliment we've ever received.

I found the trip down less unerving than the trip up...you could see more of where you were going when pointed down.
