My 2002 Boxster S, purchased new, needs new vinyl for the rear window.
I would like to hand sew a new piece of vinyl window into the top.
Since I like to go top down in every condition except rain, dust storm, and a few degrees below freezing, I would really love to have a plastic that folds at a low tempurature. Over the years I have stored my car top down with a battery powered electric blanket on the nights that might require me to put the top up in the morning. It would be nice to be a little less organized and have low tempurature window folding.
Low tempurature is nice to have - any source for window plastic is appreciated.

I had to replace my rear window vinyl last year and did some research about what to use. I found the best product to use which comes in various thicknesses and tints is called Strataglass. It can be found online but i had my window sewn in by a boat upholstery shop after i removed the top myself and they had the strataglass in stock as that is what they use in boat tops.

I researched until I found the righ one which can take the Florida sunshine and retain its clarity.
It is also DOT approved.
