Anyone own an Audi S4?

I am looking to replace the family car soon and have narrowed the choice to an Audi S4 with all the bells and whistles. This will be our retirement car to get us around the country when not driving the Boxster. What is your experience with this car if any?

It had all the options, premium luxury group or something like that.
Very comfortable, excellent ride, quiet inside, handled well enough for the street (no track time in it), plenty of power.
When you switch into performance mode you can actually feel the change in steering tension in addition to the ride tightening up.

Things I didn't like, shift throw is too long which is easily fixed, the exhaust note is non descript and it was a bit too small inside.
All in all, just a great car. Luxury and performance with all wheel drive. Hard to beat that combination.

but it is similar to the wife's car we are replacing (Honda Accord). The A6 does not offer a manual transmission and the wife really wants a shift. Gotta love that because it eliminated a whole lot of less fun cars.
