Might be time to change your cabin air filter
Roger987 - Wednesday, 2 May, 2012, at 10:42:03 am
According to the Porsche maintenance schedule, my cabin air filter wasn't yet due for replacement...

Easy to do. Suncoast or Pelican Parts (and probably Pedro) can supply the part.

Re: Hum, I might change mine too... regular or carbon?

I went with carbon. It was only $2.75 more at Pelican.

I noticed an improvement in AC efficiency. Even in the mid to high 30's C, it never broke a sweat.
I found that after I changed my cabin filter, I was STILL getting dust into the cabin. winking smiley
Gman, that's not about your cabin filter, rather

It's all about the button near the hand brake, on your console - the one you use only twice a year - to lower, then raise, the roof when Curvn8r comes out of, then goes back into, hibernation. winking smiley
Go figure cool smiley *NM*

My filter was in similar condition (dirty-ness) @ 17k miles

I don't remember the service schedule, but I was surprised how dirty it was at 17k miles. Maybe it's time to also change the air filter (before BRBS).
