PP's Boxster isn't having a great winter...
kimhammersmith - Monday, 11 February, 2013, at 2:28:53 pm
Porsche Pete's Boxster took a hit early morning Jan 30 when a tornado blew right over it's Kentucky home. It's brand new 40x60 building -- flattened to the ground. Some of it fell onto the car, the suction must have been pretty strong to SUCK the headlights out! Lots and lots of dings (mom had just spent $1000 fixing one small dent right before Christmas!), and it went for a little joy ride off the concrete pad during the storm, it's passenger window gone. It's not feeling too good now, but it wasn't totaled, so we're working on it and will hopefully have it back to normal by 2013 BRBS! It's pontoon friend flipped over and isn't feeling too good either, but this isn't a boat forum....No people were hurt thankfully, the storm did minimal damage to the house. Mom won't share the close-up photos with me.

Hi Kim:
Happy to hear no one was hurt, especially Ginny.
That must have been a scary experience.
Hope to see you (plural) at BRBS!
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
