2001 Electric Seat Controls

My 2001 Boxster driver seat controls only works on the memory 1 setting. I can still recline and have the seat move up and down but cannot move it forward or backwards. what is my problem? Is there a seat module or something that may be faulty?

Meant to say I can recline..... manually to reposition the seat. Also, if I press Memory 1 it does go back to that setting.
