Just a quick note. Registration for Boxstoberfest 2013, in Fredericksburg TX opens July 1, 2013. All the details are at www.boxstoberfest.com.
The main drive routes have been confirmed (twisted sisters routes are in there again
). Scenic and rally courses are being verified. Friday pre-drives of all routes (excluding the rally course) will be available for self-drives.
Saturday morning activities are still being finalized, but expect another great opening day.
For those who have attended before, you know what to expect. For those coming for the first time..... Boxstoberfest focuses on the drives. Significant seat time touring the best driving roads in the Texas Hill Country. Huge elevation changes, sweeping curves, and tight twisties. Ample time to reconnect with old friends, and meet new friends. We expect again, to make the record bar tab at the officers club Friday night.
Last year we had 235 attendees, and everyone had a blast. We are planning for even more this year, but register early so you don't miss out.
The Hangar Hotel - BFest Central, has been 100% booked for months (actually, since the closing day of BFest 2012, since so many attendees rebooked as they checked out last year). There are ample rooms at the Fredericksburg Inn, and Inn on Barron Creek, and if you know Fredericksburg, your only 5 minutes away).
