I need a new ecu for my Boxster, any ideas where I get one reasonable. Mine is fried beyond repair.
and used ECU's. There's Pelican or Suncoast parts and last but not least there's your local Porsche dealer service department.

Oh, Parts Heaven might have some off a salvaged car and the same goes for LA Dismantler and Oklahoma Foreign.

Thanks for the help. I have tried the used route, but worried about reprogramming for my car.
If you find one

make sure you get all of the programming codes or else it's useless.

You may want to ask Vertex if they have one: [www.vertexauto.com]

Also, how do you know for sure it's the DME?

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
