I've begun the transformation of street car to street-legal track car, phase I.

Its up in the air on blocks (14" at the lift points), nice and secure, the axle bolts are cracked but not loose, and lots of parts are beginning to fly.

First its dis-assemble

Then do some miant - gear oil, CV boots (driver's side)

Then replace the factory struts with PSS9s along with new rear control arms, toe links, a techno brace, and new strut mounting hardware and bearings/bushings.

I'll set height, but send it off to a race shop for corner weighting and alignment.

With delays, work, and at least two business trips, i expect this will be a 2-4 week project.

1. rear end mostly disassembled
2. drive shaft out (passenger is relatively new)
3. control arms out (what a bear! more info when i'm not rushing for a plane!)

Next weekend is gear oil change, rebuild CV/axle, and hopefully, remove all the struts. Maybe get new in.
