Ferry Porsche sketched the first Porsche crest/logo on a napkin while having a meal with the importer Max Hoffman.
Couldn't find a reference for it, but I believe the initial Mercedes Gullwing design was done by Rudy Uhlenhaut at home on a kitchen table.
