IMS settlement - 2nd querry - coverage of pre-emptive IMS-B upgrades.

Now, as i read the settlement, it stipulates two things:

1. There must be IMS related engine damage (page 1 summary box)
2. "may experience IMS related engine damage.......and that certain repairs were required due to such damage"
3. "explaining the reason for the repair"

So, is the mere knowledge that this is a time bomb sufficient for me to claim pre-emptive IMS replacement with LN as a legitimate expense?

Pedro appears to say yes. Based on what? has anyone tested this? Or spoke to the counsel?

If the answer is "no" it might be better to take myself out of the class and go directly after Porsche, based on the existence of this suit.

From reading the material, my understanding is... You need to suffer an IMS failure and incur out-of-pocket costs within 10 years of the in-service date in order to be considered for compensation.

But, if you have a question, I suggest you call the attorneys. The number is on the website and in the class action materials mailed.

Because I am not part of this suit I really have not made it a point to comprehensively read it.
