Rear window and side mirrors heating FYI

This might apply to earlier versions of the Boxster: When the top is down, electrical heating isn't possible. This is probably both for safety and heating the rear window for visibility is moot. It would be nice, however, if the side mirrors only could be heated, as some of us will drive top down in spite of relative coolness and high humidity which can fog the mirrors.
