well, 29,885 actually. I had intended to have it done at 27,500, but the semi-spontaneous trip to Alabama a couple weeks ago delayed the service. I'm still holding to the intention of having it done every 7500 from here on out.

Minus 40 degrees... Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?

and not already make itself none by more obvious signs are slim to none. Primarily all I read are posts about owners who do this finding non-scary bits of metal that have the owner scared you know what over nothing with advice ranging from sell the car to spend sometimes thousands of dollars to address the IMSB risk (though we do not know what the risk is from the "solutions") along with doing a number of other preventative parts replacements or even engine rebuilds to prevent a number of other potential but unlikely failures.

Change the oil/filter every 7500 miles and drive the car and enjoy the car.
No reason to worry about the hypothetical
