Key problem?
JM-Stamford,CT - Tuesday, 31 December, 2013, at 12:27:13 pm
In recent weeks, I have been having an issue with the car. Not sure if it is a problem or what.

I drive into the driveway (or wherever) turn the car off and remove the key. The radio stays on. Usually it is, say, ten seconds and I hear a clunk in the key area and the radio goes off.

During this time, I cannot re-insert the key.

Today, this process took several minutes. I assume that has a lot to do with the cold weather.

So OK - it this anything I need to take care of? Is it simple lube? Or do I have to start looking at replacing ignition parts?

Thanks in advance. Happy New Year all.

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
