Plugs...
Dave in South NH - Saturday, 22 March, 2014, at 11:48:22 am
I need to change the spark plugs in my '99 Boxster (157K). I want to try Beru. Is the 14FR7LDU the proper part number?
when I have the plugs changed in my cars. Not sure what the plug part number is. It can vary. My advise is to consult with the parts department manager as to what is the current part number for the plugs for your car's engine. Then learn what the actual plug brand and part number is. The problem is a Beru plug that was suitable back in the day may no longer be suitable as the plug's design may have changed and thus may no longer be acceptable or suitable for use in the engine. That it is risky to assume the same Beru plug that was acceptable way back when is still ok.
