I'd not heard of Jamie Cullum until I watched the closing credits of Gran Torino.
Listening to his hauntingly beautiful theme song, playing while the cars silently glided along the boulevard, beneath a flawless blue sky, the adjacent lake shimmering, the trees waving, I was left spellbound.

I soon ascertained the location - Lake Shore Road in Grosse Pointe Farms. It seemed inevitable that I'd visit there. And, serendipitously, on my way home in my new-to-me 981S, I did.
Above the car's amber turn signal you can see the tower of Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, also visible in the lower centre of the film clip below:
What I hadn't anticipated were the mansions along the boulevard:
