Looking at the exterior of the 718:
The front 'grill' is now an inverted smile (a grimace, or a snarl, sort of), like the turbo 911.
Interestingly, the non-turbo 911's retain the smiling grill - wider at the top.
The 718 and 911 have reflectors mounted low on the rear bumper. I first noticed these on the Acura TSX when it was introduced a number of years ago.
I don't know whether they are mandated for safety reasons, or a new 'styling feature'. They are everywhere - even the Toyota Yaris has them. If they are legislated safety requirements, then Porsche did a reasonable job of integrating them in the overall design. If they are there primarily as a 'yeah, we can add low reflectors, too', then that would be a shame, as a large aesthetic appeal of Porsche is its conviction to do its own thing, and not emulate the masses.
