What a ride! I have driven cars from North America, Germany, Japan and Sweden but nothing comes close to my Boxster..nothing!
Yea I know you can’t compare the ride and performance from a sports car to a sedan, but as operating cost go it has been the cheapest.
So far on required repairs I have spent a total of $517. Yup $517. I do the all the required maintenance and some “Preventative maintenance”, in order to avoid preventable problems. Here is the breakdown other than regular maintenance.
Required repairs:
* Temp. sensor year 9 at 71,000 miles
* Door speakers year 14 at 96,000 miles
Preventative replacements:
* Water pump, thermostat and coolant year 10 at 78,000 miles
* AOS year 12 at 90,000 miles
* Expansion and coolant tank caps year 14 at 96,000 miles
In ending... Pedro I’m right behind you, just 150,000 miles to go!

if "carlos (is) in montreal," why are the speedo and odo in miles?
