I also heard that the production of the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 will not stop the 718 Boxster EV is now expected to launch in 2027. Is this true?
all of which suggest Porsche is deferring or abandoning its EV plans.

ICE engines will continue for at least some time. All of this is pretty unclear in real life. It is not like VW autogroup is in trouble - really. The whole marketplace is in a state of flux though.
That is not going to change soon.
