I just got a 99 996 it had sat for two years in storage.I drove it easy then highway speeds for 6 hours to home,it ha a smallish rms leak,I want to try BlueDevil seal restorer, is that ok?

i don’t think that you’re going to get anyone to say that it’s ok. it’s not the right way to resolve the leak.

but 500 miles ago i used 2 cans of LiquiMoly Motor Oil Saver and my minor seepage seems to be temporarily mitigated. grinning smiley
i would drive it for a while (and monitor) and reassess. maybe it just needs to be driven a bit.

also, fyi, my comment above relates to a ‘98 boxster.
Because it sat for 2 years, the RMS is warped a bit and no seal restorer will fix that.
I don't think it will hurt though.
The RMS warps when it sits in storage because the seal doesn't sit perfectly perpendicular to the shat (on purpose).
The insertion toll has a slight inclination which, during long-term storage tends to make the RMS' center oval instead of circular.
If driving it for a while doesn't help, replacing will be the only true fix.
