Hello All

Nearly twenty-six years ago (November 1999 in fact) I took delivery in London, UK, of one of the very first Boxster Ss. I had ordered the S when the original 986 came out - I went for a test drive in a standard 2.5 litre 1997 Boxster and told the dealer "I'd love to have the faster version when they make one." and he took a deposit from me...and two years later I spec'd the S and then took delivery. It was a fun time. I made lots of friends on PPBB as a result and I think many are here now on Pedro's board.

Would you believe me if I said that I can't find a single photo of that car! Its registration was V961 JGW. The car was mine in the days before ubiquitous mobiles phones with good cameras. However, I am sure that I posted pictures from a digital camera on PPBB...but now that bulletin board is no more, and I can't remember my login details for the archive and I can't find those photos at home.

Can anyone help please? I have good pictures of most of my vehicles, but none it seems of my black Boxster S. I'd love to find those old pictures.

I’m away from my office for a couple of weeks but upon my return I’ll try to dig through the archives.
Any picture you posted would have been on a hosting platform, not on PPBB itself, so that makes it somewhat more difficult.
But we will try.

And hosting platforms go away or remove posting beyond a certain age. Lost a bunch of pictures that Maurice had sent and referenced in his tops write-ups. Amazing how many folks ask me for them even 13 years or so later.
