Soft top potentially available

I have a 2000 black soft top with a cracked plastic window. I’m replacing it with a blue 2003 top with a glass window. If the install goes well I’ll have the original without a home.

Shipping is expensive, but does anyone need a top?

Are you sure you want the glass window?
I REALLY don't like it on '97-'02 Boxsters.
It doesn't allow for easy engine access, it's more costly, it offers reduced rear vision, it's heavier.
Reconsider. Many people i know who have gone glass, eventually regret it.

I couldn't find anyone who would sew in a new plastic panel and I got the top for $1075+shipping - at today's prices, that's what a top (without the frame) would have run off of Amazon (and I hear the fitment of all of those it a PITA and hit or miss).
I'm not concerned with the weight (I'm not racing a 26 year old car) and I like the thought of avoiding the Boxster chop and the scratching and hazing of the plastic over the next 26 years.
I'm sure my mechanic can figure out the access - he's the one putting it on.

Appreciate the thoughts and concern, however.

Offer stands if someone wants to pay shipping.
