So, Monday night. BCS championship game. I am upstairs, turn on game. Wife rolls her eyes and heads downstairs.... I head down to get some (ahem) refreshment from the basement fridge.... and SHE IS WATCHING THE GAME. She is all mad that because of me she HAS to watch college football. She was never interested before. She even knew who Cam Newton was and was routing against Auburn. I thenby JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum

I am sure a search would turn up the part nos. etc It was very easy except for removing the old socket. That could be tricky. I simply took pliers and crushed it. Done in 10 seconds.by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum

Keeping both brands semi-competitive with each other is a good thing. Brings out the best in both. The TT was never really "competitive" with the Boxster. They are similar niche but not really the same type of car. I think the auto world is better for having the both of them out there. Choosing one or the other to be the standard bearer means either a sported up TT or a sport compromised Boxby JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum
But I went to school on the main line so I am officially an Eagles ---- ummm ---- Extensive disliker. What an embarrassment, it is a catastrophe. Would not want to be in the G-men practice facility this week. Just think what the Jets and Giants would be if we had decent kickers. i wonder what Pat Leahy is doing?by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum

I wouldn't be caught dead in an SUV. Besides - speed wasn't the issue. it was mostly the grade of the road, coupled with the turn on. I was pretty surprised that the front end held.by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum
I kind of thought there might be. I really need energy when driving -- so mellow is OUT. I don't need aggression, but it helps... Strangely - I find it relaxing too.by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum
everybody is fine, but I would not be surprised if the dude in the lane next to me needed a change of underwear. To answer your question -- it wasn't fun exactly, but not really scary either. One of the benefits of having driven a Camaro in New England for many years is that fishtails are a common event. A little unusual in the Boxster though.by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum
spun my car today --- actually more like a REALLY big fishtail -- but watch out for that black ice ------ I know it got my attention.by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum

So last night -- I am in de-stress mode. Pop in David Gilmour's - "On an Island" CD. VERY relaxing. But not exactly a disc that I could ever listen to while driving. My son was chillin' with me.... Then he put on HIS music. Just happens to be the "Cars" disney CD. Definitely a good driving disc. So..... a Friday poll --- What is your best and worst Driving music? My favorite is Metalliby JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum

As I posted some time ago, my Saab is a little under the weather. So I have been driving the Boxster every single day. Rain, sleet, snow, hail. Luckily not more than 1/2 inch of snow... but you get the point... Boy, what I have been missing. There is nothing like this car. Tossable, energetic. I really do like the Saab, but there is NO comparison. I like the SUV too, but PLEASE - this iby JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum
They could offer the "912" like they did years back. They could offer the "Boxster GTX" or whatever with an upgraded powerplant. The problem is that the 912 would cost a similar amount to the 911 to produce.by JM-Stamford,CT - Main Forum
