Great place to visit. My friends are up there now and said the Jag club is there this weekend. Counting the days until BRBS 2023by Naples986 - Main Forum

When I got my first Cab I left the sunscreen in the car it got so hot it leaked out and made a mess in the glove box so put it in a zip lock. Another option is long sleeve Columbia shirts UV rated they do the job without the sunscreen mess getting on the car or having to reapply.by Naples986 - Main Forum
A quick search of the Internet found the button which changes modes is the problem, not covered under warranty of course. Found a video of a hack which basically adds an external button and problem solved. I don't trust it on my Boxster anymore but on my gas golf cart it seems to be working OK.by Naples986 - Main Forum
I did Pedro's test and it's a bad regulator. Is there a video on how to replace a regulator and where is a good place to buy one? Thanksby Naples986 - Main Forum
Thanks for all the tips everyone, I will check them out this weekend. Have a great Independence Day next weekby Naples986 - Main Forum
It's silent on first pull. However If I pull on the handle three or four times I can hear some noise and see slight movement. Thanksby Naples986 - Main Forum
Need some help with my 2000 986S. I have noticed that the passenger side window doesn't always go down that small amount when I pull on the door handle (from inside or out). I tried disconnecting the battery and resetting, works fine on the driver side but only slight or no movement on the passenger side. Any Ideas, thank you.by Naples986 - Main Forum
The story is well done I enjoyed it , the future is less entertainingby Naples986 - Main Forum
I have heard about this sn*w you speak of but haven't experienced it in sunny south Florida See you soon my friend.by Naples986 - Main Forum
That's surprising considering the price of gas over there. Safe travels my friend.by Naples986 - Main Forum
Before I got mine I didn't understand it either. But one good midday sunburn is all it takes to understand. I'm with Pedro, the winter months (sorry northerners) are the best top down weather for us in sunny Florida. In the summer months you have to get out early morning to enjoy the car but by midday, well you read that part already.by Naples986 - Main Forum
The support is due for renewal on my old radar and am wondering if it's better to get a new one. Thanksby Naples986 - Main Forum
Hi G, I switched the OEMs on my ML AMG to ceramics for less dust and better durability. The results were good but in the morning when the rotors were cold there was a noticeable difference in braking until they warmed up, just my experience. Eventually I got used to it but it can get you by surprise at first.by Naples986 - Main Forum
Barry your experience reads just like what happened to my Boxster. I was able to get off the interstate before it died, not much warning just like your experience. Turned out to be the alternator my battery was almost new so no need to replace it. Marc has a point though, have the battery tested because if it's a few years old this type of event can damage/kill it.by Naples986 - Main Forum
At the end of the episode Jay showed the car had been fixed 3 weeks later and Bob doing a wheel stand on a drag strip. Noticed what Pedro said, scary how close that could have really gone bad with loose of limb(s) they were lucky.by Naples986 - Main Forum
