I have a 97 boxster with 2 driving wheel spokes at 7 and 5(or is it 8 and 4). I love driving only with my left hand at 7 gripping the spoke with my thumb on one side and rest of fingers the other side of the spoke. Also, my left arm elbow is resting on the lid of the door storage bin making longer drives comfortable as the arm doesn't get tired. This way, I can indicate left or right turn signalby bigmach - Main Forum
I could not find a link to the address of the event or when it usually occurs? This will be helpful for me to attend in the future thanksby bigmach - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
the inner door handle seems to work fine, it goes back to the original position when released. However, now I have the issue of the window not going down by half an inch when opening the door. If i want to change the regulator, how difficult of a project is it? any webpages somewhere with pictures of this DIY? Also, any recommendations on websites with good prices on parts? Thanksby bigmach - Main Forum
I have the same issue on my driver window. The window does not go down at all while opening or closing the door. Before this happened, the window would keep jumping up and down about a half inch every time I would open the driver side window. Is this still the regulator or maybe the micro switch? Pedro, can you suggest a site to buy the window regulator for a good price? Also, is this a DIY ? I'by bigmach - Main Forum
So it turns out it was a loose heat shield, took it out and the rattling is gone!by bigmach - Main Forum
Went to an independent mechanic. How easy is it to fix it (DIY) if either the heat shield or muffler is loose?by bigmach - Main Forum
When the engine is idling at neutral standing still, there's no rattle. When I give some gas, it starts to rattle, maybe around 1500-3000 rpms. This happens when standing still and when in first or second gears at normal 1500-3000 rpm driving. Sounds like something is loose in either the muffler/catsby bigmach - Main Forum
The noise seems to be coming from the muffler/cats. Went to a local shop who told me my cats might be gone. How can I make sure it's the cats before replacing these expensive cats?by bigmach - Main Forum
There is a pronounced rattling noise during low rpms when driving in 1st and 2nd gear. I have tried to look underneath the car, but nothing seems loose, the exhaust seems fine. What could this noise be?by bigmach - Main Forum
Hey guys, Repost of this question. I have a 97 Boxster with 80,000 miles. This is the second time I have noticed that the fuel gauge needle suddenly drops to empty with the yellow light at the empty line flashing( blinking) for a few even though I have enough fuel. After a few minutes, the needle goes back to where it was and the yellow light stops flashing. Is there any problem with the fuel indby bigmach - Main Forum
