So is there anyway to close the MOST circuits ? As for the radio, can I recode the gateway with my durametric ? I saw a Bose amp installed/not installed , but I don't recal a radio/HU setting.by EricG - Main Forum
Long story short, I completely replaced the BOSE sound system in my 987S-MY05. When I say completely, I mean all of it, AMP, HU and Speakers. Of course as part of the "Odyssey" (Yes, it turns out to be a bit more complicated than I thought).... I left the MOST fiber optic cable just hanging as I didn't need it with the new HU and AMP. But since, I see these 2 little codes when I run my Durametby EricG - Main Forum

Boxsterd, I don't think they would squeak, there is no warning tabs on the pads. They would eventually make some noise once the pad has worned off but you don't want that as this is when you start chewing the disc.by EricG - Main Forum
MarcW, I hear you and would rather have the sensor in place. I don't track the car, though I do occasional autocross which so far doesn't seem the be an issue. As an update, I reach out to Hawk Performance. They are now saying I have the wrong pads and the flat sensor are the right ones. They requested picture of my old pads to make sure I would get the right replacements. Funny thing is theyby EricG - Main Forum
Thanks Pedro, When not using the sensor, do I just disconnect it or leave it tie wrapped in there.by EricG - Main Forum
So today I started to do a brake job on my 987S -2005. Once the pad where removed I fit tested my new pad to realize that the front sensor would not fit back in. After research I found out that the sensor in place are 98761267601 and not 98661236500. The difference is 98761267601 has a large sensor and the other one a small pin that insert in the pad. I'm not sure but it seems that the 9876126by EricG - Main Forum

Folks, I will bring my durametric kit and computer at BRBS, but I'm no expert and actually needs a good crash course on how to properly use the tool. So if anyone needs some diagnostic done while we are there and someone is willing to spend time with us showing us how to use it, please wave me down!!!by EricG - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)

Yes, it is causes by the Canadian dollar fluctuation. I didn't noticed at the time of purchase, and had to look twice for it, but now there is a note under the article description to inquire about latest price due to currency fluctuation. Now I have to figure out how to use the tool. Anyone with good info page/forum that would include a newbie tutorial ?by EricG - Main Forum
Interesting... I quickly browsed over the video presentation. Am I correct to understand that the transmission limit of the keyfob is 2 inches ? If this is the case, eavesdropping the handshake is not a trivial task. While decryption of the key from a captured handshake might be, I feel that I would know if someone was 2 inch away from my keys to capture the data.by EricG - Main Forum
Consumer law can change from province to province, but the Canadian consumer bureau prohibit this behavior. Buying the product directly is not that good of an options as I will have to pay for import duty and a more expensive shipping cost. As an update, the fellow I've been dealing with was nice enough to apologies and offer 33$ discount which cover a bit more than half the price raise. I havby EricG - Main Forum
So yesterday, as a gift to myself, I decided to buy a Durametric Pro Edition. Looked up on-line and from the Durametric web site found a Canadian re-seller. Connected to their website and completed the purchase for $921.60 CAD + taxes + shipping. I immediately received confirmation by e-mail that stated: Thank you for placing your order with "VENDOR" This email is to confirm your recent orderby EricG - Main Forum

QuoteGuenter in Ontario QuoteGary in SoFL Just so you understand G-man, a country doesn't trump a state! Well, Gary, it appears that you don't know the difference between a province and a country. A province is to Canada as a state is to the USA. I'm sure you wouldn't consider Florida to be a country would you? So, yes. There are currently 16 cars from Ontario, 1 from Quebec, 1 from PEI. Marc, I hope your trip goes well and that you have a safe journey... Credit card fraud detection is sometimes weird, I got mine disabled once mainly because I did a long road trip and back the same day. We went to pick up my mom's new dog to a breeder north of Toronto, total about 1600KM from home to the breeder back home in less than 15 hours. Once I got home, the card wouldn't work to refilby EricG - Main Forum

I had a look at my push rods yesterday and both are solid and in good shape. I noticed that the paint was scraped off around the torx screw I mentioned in my previous post on the side that lags behind. So I thought my assumption was right, but no... the screw was tight, might have come from adjustment in the past... So I looked at what else could be causing the lag and check all nuts and boltsby EricG - Main Forum
Hmmm, looking at the picture, something just hit me ! Could it be that the torx screw used to lock the push rod ajustement be slipping ???? Just enough to cause misalignment it ! I'll have to give that a quick look !by EricG - Main Forum
Thanks Carlos, I thought of that, but what puzzles me is if the push rod was broken, why would it still move ! Wouldn't the left side not move at all ? I'm hoping to dig hands on into it this weekend, I'll check the push rod for sure. Anyone else have leads on what to look for ? Thaks, Ericby EricG - Main Forum
To all the top specialist and other who may chime in, Recently, I have had 2 occurrences of the top not aligning properly when attempting to close it. The gap was not enough to twist the clam-shell, but once the car said the roof was in place, I had 1 to 2 inch gap on the driver side not allowing me to clamp it in place. Both time, retracting the roof and restarting for open position fixed theby EricG - Main Forum

Just a quick update.... Got the eom part yesterday evening at a local dealership and installed it tonight... Put everything back together and went for a test drive ... Everything is OK , the new b&m shirt shifter is working perfectly. Thanks Pedro .. I don't think I'll need 10. It's still the original. The previous owner only changed the link attaching to the right cable. And a bad job it was too, they even cut the plastic assembly to allow the aftermarket link to slide. Not even mentioning the link rubbing on the carpet. I had found the part 11, the original part is made of plastic and there are after market link like the EVby EricG - Main Forum
We'll bad news that aftermarket shift link doesn't fit the b&m shifter. There was already sign of the shift link rubbing on the carpet. Now, with the b&m, it's to long and I can't put it back. Got to find a oem. Is IT Worth considereing an EVO ?by EricG - Main Forum
