For those who carry a weapon while driving, how do you do so as to not damage the seat or be uncomfortable? The seat is narrow and carrying a handgun in the normal strong-side position will damage the seat and yourself. A shoulder holster wouldn't be bad, but I find it tiring. A car holster is a possibility, but that means switching to a regular holster before exiting the car. Recommendatioby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
It reminds me of the first Boxster I ever saw. Shortly after moving into my present neighborhood, I saw a car setting on the back of a neighbor's yard in the high weeds. I found an excuse to go back there and saw that it was a Basalt 1998 Boxster. I have no idea how long it had set there prior to my seeing it, but from the height of the weeds, it must have been a year. He has since moved it up tby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
It reminds me of the MR2, also. I must have lost track of time. I thought the 2012s were just released. And the 981 is a 2013 available this summer?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I've been looking for a Boxster for awhile now, and can safely say there are fewer newer Boxsters S models available this year over previous years. I wonder how the "new" design Boxster will affect the ownership of current 987s.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I have done some reading about clay and found that different companies sell it in different consistencies. I gather from the Griots' ad that theirs is fairly soft. I use Zainos products including their clay and haven't had a problem with scratching. Theirs is fairly hard but will soften-up when kneaded and held in my hands to raise its temperature. How I do it: 1. Wash the car and leave it wet.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Having gone thru this a few years ago, I can tell you the following: Get a generator that outputs enough watts and amps to do what you need it to do. Figure out what circuits you need to run and those you can live w/o. A 30 amp generator of sufficient wattage should run whatever you need it to including your 110volt furnace, except the A/C. If you also want to power the A/C, the generator needby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Quotedb997S Many pooh-pooh the IMS issue, but once your engine dies 600 miles from home at 1:00 a.m. on a cold October early morning in Toledo, OH, you brush the naysayers off. Not sure if you've ever been to Toledo, but east of there, there ain't much of anything. If my engine died 90 minutes earlier, I could have been stranded literally, in the middle of nowhere in sub 30 degree weather atby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I am looking at a 2009 'S' and am wondering if anyone know of any engine/transmission problems w/ the new design. I hate being an "early adopter", but this car is in my price range and has all the options I want. Thanx in advance.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario My observations during our trip to Florida which took as down the eastern route I-90, 77, 85. Coming back was I-75. I guess I-75 is always under construction in Georgia. Best to avoid it. You drove right past my house. I live right off I271, 10-minutes from the I271/I77 interchange. Quote Gas stations in Southern states (Georgia, Florida) make it tough to buy gas.
