I had "ditched" it in the Publix supermarket parking lot - an end space with as much room as possible. That was a Tuesday. The roads were pure ice on Wednesday. My husband took me out on Thursday to pick it up and it was in perfect condition! I drove it home. What a joy!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

He's been driving this race for a few years now. He just got a used Lotus but am sure he's not driving that!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I'm a die-hard. The Boxster is my daily driver, so I'll switch tires to accomodate the weather. We plan to move up North (Baltimore) and I will continue to drive the Boxster daily. Yeah, I could have a beater as a 2nd car, but what fun is that?by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

It started snowing at about 11:30am today... light flurries turned into light snow. As anyone here knows, traffic would soon come to a halt, so, naturally, I got on the road to get home (what was I thinking?) Headed out and got on a major highway with no problem. As soon as I got into Midtown Atlanta on the surface roads, the trouble began. I was driving on North Ave on the way home (about 4 miby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

I joined PCA before - the only downside is that everything is on the North side of town - mostly Perimeter and North (Alpharetta)... We used to have a really active group here in Atlanta that met outside of PCA... I'd love to get us all together again - not sure who is here on Pedros Board these days. You gonna do autocross?? Glad you made it here - it's a great group of people, and very weby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

This happened with previous Boxsters - driving the car in very cold temps (20 degrees in Atlanta).... the car makes a crunch sound within about 10 seconds of backing out/pulling forward. If it hadn't happened before, I'd be concerned, but it seems to be a consistent issue. Any other year-round drivers know what I'm talking about? Outside of that, great/fun car to drive in any weather! I say if iby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I went to 6 or 7 BRBS's in the past - all up in Blowing Rock. I cannot WAIT for this one - to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Looking at last year's roster (2013), there are a lot of new people and the group has changed. I'm really looking forward to seeing Karl again, meeting Nell and seeing Ron and Mary among many others - Pedro, of course. I've missed you all so much.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

I know it's off-topic. I'm not in any way religious. I just wish you all a wonderful Christmas and New Year. It's great to be back in the Boxster/Cayman/Porsche family. There are still things I'm discovering (or not discovering - for those of us that are daily drivers - there's the ever-present notch that occurs in freezing weather when in reverse - like you're driving over ice). No complaints -by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
