All Porsches from 2011 to date have the same issues. After about 6-10 years of age and mostly depending on local sunshine, temps and humidity delamination starts quickly followed by warping of the panel’s frame. But don’t blame Porsche. The TUV mandated in 2010 that Porsche had to stop using their (solvent-based) adhesives and switch to water-based ones immediately even though the panels hby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... you need to have two separate sets of codes. One string of numbers comes from the factory with every keyless remote and immo pill. The second set of codes, called the IPASS Codes are the "passwords" for a particular car based on the VIN. The IPASS Codes are difficult to get because one could do a lot of irregular things with them in hand, so dealers only and select shops can get them. When Iby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... the HVAC control unit is damaged (shorted). If there's no obvious visual problem, you'll have to replace it since trying to repair it would be guessing at what components to change. There are no schematics of the unit and they are not serviceable. Try to find a salvaged one from the same model year as your car if possible. The E7 fuse is for the A/C. Disconnect the Climate Control unit, replace the fuse and turn on the ignition. If the fuse blows there's something in the wiring harness. If it doesn't blow, the Climate Control unit is shorted. I don't think that a blown E7 fuse would have any effect on the instrument cluster. ... because the architecture of the doors and panels are completely different. If you have a 986/996/987/997 with a problem on the door panel it's probably the leather that's started to shrink after water damage. If wet leather is allowed to dry quickly it will shrink quite a bit, so if it's gotten wet, put a damp towel over it and allow it to dry away from the sun over a matter of days. All of the three specs in alignment can cause undue wear (camber, toe and caster) when out of spec. But in this particular case the OP states that his shop couldn't bring the camber into spec on that side so the odds are that it's camber, not toe causing his excessive wear. It happens with the full leather as well, but it is not as noticeable. Once the adhesive has lost it's "grabbing power" it starts to release the foam. (Both leather and leatherette are mounted on a foam base which is them glued onto the panel). When this foam has released, the leather which really isn't physically altered with differences in temps tends to stay put. The leatherette will shrink anby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

About 10 years ago we started noticing the issue. It's just the solenoid that is hitting metal at the end of travel. Probably lost it's rubber cushion. You may be able to adjust by loosening the bolt and pushing the assembly in a bit more, Not a big deal and won't hurt anything if you do nothing, just noise. Too much (negative) camber will wear out the inside of the tire faster than it should. If the car was lowered then the geometry may be affected hence not being able to get it back to spec. Raise it a bit and the shop should be able to get the camber within the recommended specs.by Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Remove the firewall behind the seats and remove the poly-ribbed belt. I would check: the Water pump. The bearing can make that sound you describe and your mileage is close to the low limit for the pump. Also check the free-rolling action of the Idler and Tensioner rollers . The reason why you need a reprogram is not that you're going to get error messages, but that the alternator in these cars is controlled by the ECU and is variable. The ECU needs to know the battery's specs so that it can charge the battery accordingly. If you installed a higher CCA battery than the one you had, the car doesn't know that and will under charge it resulting in a quicker death of theby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Look at the battery that's now installed. It should have the CCA and Ah values. You need to match those or the car needs reprogramming. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

Hey Joanne! Most of the warnings will turn themselves off with a well-charged unit. If you are replacing the battery, make sure that you replace it with the exact same specs (CCA, Ah) so that you don't have to reprogram. Congrats on your PhD. Hope you find the job you want soon. Generally these dumps are due to a trapped air bubble, generally in one of the radiators. It's almost impossible to remove air in the radiators by using the bleeding valve because the bubble generally stays in place, allowing coolant to flow underneath it.
