Anyone who thinks that people think the 718 as better only because of it's HP and 0-60 time understand nothing about those "people", Porsche or the 718. Pedro....did you receive a PM from me about a week ago???by Gary in SoFL - Main Forum

QuotePedro (Weston, FL) It wasn't the PDK that was shifting. Look at his right hand on the upshifts and you will see the fingers moving the paddle. The downshifts can't be seen since he's blocking his left hand. Damn fast car! Shame they only made 1,000. Happy Porsche'ing, Pedro So he was commanding the shifts, but no pedal clutching!by Gary in SoFL - Main Forum

Similar to a rear suspension strut upgrade....just stronger and less costly. Additional reinforcement strut for the rear anti-roll bar. A bolt-on upgrade to stiffen the rear wheel carriers. Using existing mounting points, add adds more strength to the rear suspension. Does that sound about right?by Gary in SoFL - Main Forum

naturally aspirated four cylinders in line longitudinal front engine with 236 HP, and 225 ft-lbs of torque, most of it available down low. I surprised a lot of automatic 911's on the track. The end of the line came in 1995 due to list prices creeping up over $50K and bumping into the flag ship 911, not to mention Porsche plans for the more profitable to them 986, coming on in 1997. Change is notby Gary in SoFL - Main Forum
Quoteold timer Correct, but while you're showing off your Rolex and latest $1,000 phone it's hard to point to your new 4 cylinder car. I think Porsche has misjudged their market. Porsche may have misjudged their future market; time will tell, not the first few months when decent inventory was in short supply, especially Cayman's, except for loaded floor model $90K+ 718S's. I will never own a 71by Gary in SoFL - Main Forum
