Many of the numbers cited in the presentation are just plain wrong. The amount of CO2 required to produce a battery pack is off by a factor of 30x. The amount of mining required is off by a factor of 50x. All of this is a debate we should be having for sure but the realities aren't as bleak as he makes out to be.

When the problem is the AOS, the intake gets coated with oil. Clean the intake, run it and see if the intake is coated. It's possible that your new AOS is bad. That's not common but it's easy to test.

that the dash would inform you that the clutch switch circuit is discontinuous if the problem is the starter. Regardless, if the problem is the relay then you can verifying that by jumping the relay

The ones you're talking about surround the cats and they have clips that corrode. The solution there is to just replace the clips, nbd. The ones (I think) Grant is talking about are the ones that are forward of that. They are connected to the exhaust pipe with spot welds that break over time.

There is only one motor mount, in the front center of the engine. The rear of the engine is bolted to the transmission, which has two transmission mounts. What specifically have you replaced and did you use stock parts? Also, do you only feel the vibration in the range of 1200 rpm? I'm not sure I understand your comment.

The 986 key fob has no protection from sideways force on the microswitches. Over time this can crack or break the solder joint. When you press the button it may be disconnecting and reconnecting many times. That won't stop the light from flashing but it will keep the car from unlocking. The solution is easy: reflow the joint. Also, sometimes the actual switch goes bad, which has the same symptoms
