Maybe you should take a look at 986-375-084-03. It sounds like what you are looking for but I don't know how it differs from 986-375-049-02.by dan.oneufer - Main Forum
That takes a lot of the mystery out of it. Thanks for the insight. It gives me a better sense of comfort that the nuts will be tight enough. Now, off to work on my "balancing on a pipe" skills...by dan.oneufer - Main Forum
Thanks for all the responses. You have helped me confirm my initial thought that I should remove the entire assembly. I'll let you know how it goes.by dan.oneufer - Main Forum
I know someone scholarly engineer did all the math in some brilliantly lit Ikea-looking office, but I tend to agree that the torque value can be estimated. I saw someone selling a 'trunk liner' in the PCA Mart for a 2009 Boxster, so you may be able to get one. Its the 986 version that seems to be hard to find.by dan.oneufer - Parts for Sale
P1Speed advised me that they did not have stock for the front trunk. Pelican Parts, too seems to be sold out. I cannot see a group buy being possible if they don't have any of the items available.by dan.oneufer - Parts for Sale
Any movement on this? I am interested as well and I found that one of the Cayman boards regularly does a group buy through p1speed(dot)com. If they are group buying for their cars, those of us who need a 2-piece set might not be able to participate.by dan.oneufer - Parts for Sale
