Hi think, sorry I totally screwed up. It's supposed to be New Hampshire. Not New Jersey. I assume the people in New Hampshire are nicer?by diegotola - Main Forum
Thanks for the input. I thought the owner took car of the car. He even did th ln engineering swap to avoid the dreaded ims.maybe he is a member on the board...by diegotola - Main Forum
Didn't know about the turbo look wheels being heavier. I just had it on my car when I had it. Good point. Thanks!by diegotola - Main Forum
That's a great idea. Maybe I can even get the shop to help broker a deal. I assume I would have to send a cashier check and then the shop can ship the car to me. The car I saw was in Bedford, New Jersey. Know any good shops there? Thanks for all your responses. I used to have an 2004 boxster s on lease and I returned it. Later I got an 05 boxster a and drove it for a while. It was more refinedby diegotola - Main Forum
I was thinking about an 986 s 03-04. But wanted a low mileage and yellow color with turbo wheels. Hard to find actually.by diegotola - Main Forum
I am thinking about buying a boxster from New Jersey but I live in Los Angeles. Any suggestions on how I can do this? It's a private party that is selling the car. I obviously need to have it shipped. Hate to buy it sight unseen... Is there a service out there that I could use? Any suggestion would be appreciate it. Jeffby diegotola - Main Forum
You should not pay good money for them to damage your car. You can and its your right to do that all by yourself. That being said its an awfully small scratch at a place you hardy ever see... So I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. Jeffby diegotola - Main Forum
Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. Maybe I am getting old but when I had a 986 the standard seats seemed to fit just fine. Now with my 987, I feel that I am constantly fighting the car. A little tough to enjoy especially in traffic. I think perhaps the 987 standard seat has a different seat bottom angle and all the weight is being shifted to my lower back. I have driven a loaner witby diegotola - Main Forum
I love my 05 Boxster but I hate the standard seats. They have got to be the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in. But I am afraid to get aftermarket seats because I will lose the seat airbags. Ah suggestions? If I do go the aftermarket route any ideas on cost or while seat to replace it with? Maybe I should just sell the car and get a 911? Thanks in advance for your help!by diegotola - Main Forum
