First, let me begin by saying the Suncoast LED upgrade kit is definitely the way to go in terms of quality, simplicity and function. It looks great. Yes, you can buy LED replacement bulbs on ebay but the 3 footwells with lenses included do a much better job than simply replacing the bulbs. Now that I praised them for the quality, time for my screw up. I replaced all of the LED lights and footby atwnsw - Main Forum

Hi Everybody, In addition to doing some cosmetic improvements on my car, I am going to replace the interior bulbs with LED bulbs. I saw the Suncoast kit for $129 + tax + s/h which seems kind of steep for LED bulbs. Has anybody done this upgrade? If so, where did you buy your bulbs? Thanks in advance........ I did some research and think it is referred to "Pillar B" but couldn't find the actual part #. After noticing some scratches & peeling paint on other parts, I decided that I am going to replace the headlight bezel and ignition switch bezel (both only $20 each). I wondered if it made sense to replace both of these seat belt pieces of trim at the same time but didn't know the cost..... Thankby atwnsw - Main Forum

Hi Pedro, Great to hear from you. Hope you are doing well. If I pursue the clear coat option, can you tell me what is involved in removing the switch? Thanks Anthonyby atwnsw - Main Forum
Today I noticed the silver paint peeling on my tiptronic rocker. See photo. 2006 Boxster S 987 Can you please give me the part # so that I can order it? Thanks in advance. Anthonyby atwnsw - Main Forum
Thanks for the reply. I have a follow up question: To remove the good one, does it come out from the bottom or top? I wasn't sure if I should use pliers to pull it down or to push it up. Thanks again. Anthonyby atwnsw - Main Forum
So, my cup holder assembly seemed loose on the left side. I attempted to tighten the torx screws (2 total). The one on the right side tightened without issue but the one on the left (closer to driver's side) seemed like it was stripped as I couldn't tighten it. So, I decided to remove both screws and remove the assembly. The assembly seems fine but the screw attachment in the dash from the leby atwnsw - Main Forum
I saw the retail price of sensors and was wondering if it was worth $100 to buy. Once I realized they are only about $10 each, I bought them. Thank you to everybody who replied to my post. You know that this board is great when a moron can post a stupid question without getting slammed (which, in this case, I deserved!)by atwnsw - Main Forum
I ordered a replacement set of front brake pads and will have somebody locally install them (It might be an easy DIY but I am not comfortable messing with them). My car is a 2006 Boxster S and I have approx 15% front brake pads left. The sensor has not gone off. I called a local shop and they strongly advised me to replace the sensor at the same time since they said it will break in most instaby atwnsw - Main Forum

I have hurricane panels stored in the top corner of my garage. They are difficult to reach and I would like to find a hoist that can pick up 500 lb. Most of the hoists/lifts that i have seen can only hold 250 lb and cost around $250. I haven't seen a reputable product online that can hold more weight without spending thousands.... It can be manual or electric. Here is the closest thing that Iby atwnsw - Main Forum
Quotemarty I carry my Border Collie in my Boxster a lot. I have fitted the Porsche child seat rail, plugged it in and paid an independent dealer to activate it. When I plug an old seat belt clip a warning light flashes to say the air-bag has been de-activated. I have a nylon seat cover and a soft fabric lined picnic blanket for Frosty to sit on. He wears a car harness which fastens to the maiby atwnsw - Main Forum
I tried buckling the seatbelt with no weight in the seat and the light didn't come on showing it was inactive.... I won't spend $600 trying to buy a child deactivation device. Any other ideas?by atwnsw - Main Forum
I have a 60 lb dog that occasionally rides in the passenger seat. Should I be turning off the airbag whenever he rides in the car? If so, how? Also, I got a new puppy who is only 15 weeks old. Does anybody else drive with 2 dogs in the passenger seat? Pictures? I put a sheepskin cover over the seat and a towel over the console compartment to protect the car but would gladly welcome any otheby atwnsw - Main Forum

Courtesy of FW... Advance Auto has the Peak 900 Amp Jumpstarter Link on sale for $79.99. Add filler item (I used 312114.3 which was .29) to get the price over $80. Apply promo code RAF51112 which takes $30 off purchases over $80. That knocks the price down to $50.28. Next, submit the rebate for $20 off (Offer Code: AAP-10023) and you get this jumpstarter for $30.28. I am thinking of pulling theby atwnsw - Main Forum
Thanks for your input. Here is what I found out after testing your suggestions: The problem is only with the passenger side window. I attempted to reset the passenger window per Pedro's instructions but still not change. The carpet is dry and I don't see signs of moisture. Both windows do drop when the car door is opened. HHHHmmmmmm... ???by atwnsw - Main Forum
I can usually open the window and close the window using onetouch it but it is never consistent nor does it ever stop in the same spot. View My Video Is this an easy fix like replace a fuse or is this much more complicated? Your input is much appreciated. Thanks Anthonyby atwnsw - Main Forum

I have a 2006 Boxster S and always travel with a bottle of water in the cup holder. However I have always noticed a rattle coming from the factory holder and believe that I have isolated the sound to just one piece. Has anybody else experienced this sound? If so, did you find a fix? Thanks in advance Anthonyby atwnsw - Main Forum
