I had the same symptoms on my '07 S. The display lit up and seemed normal, just no sound. Volume numbers went up/down, channels changed, radio to CD, etc. Then it went away and has not returned, it's been about 6 weeks or so now. That's all I know, though.by Hobiedog - Main Forum
So, I did a search, just had my radio go out and am looking for answers. It turned on, it all looks like it is on, changes stations, volume goes up and down, etc but no sound. I thought I heard a 'clicking' sound from behind the firewall area, maybe a relay there, or the amp, or something? It's a 2007 987 S, CDR 24 with Bose, if that helps. Thanks all!by Hobiedog - Main Forum
Thanks for all the comments, I'll let you know how it goes!by Hobiedog - Main Forum
Thanks for all the input. I guess I'm a little freaked out by the perceived lack of lubrication at initial start up. The tires are pretty worn, I expect that they will be flat-spotted, hence the replacement. So I guess, replace the battery and then give her a go, then. Yikes! Wish me luck!by Hobiedog - Main Forum
I have just inherited a 2007 s. It has been in storage for about 18-20 months. It looks like the tires need to be replaced, the battery (original) is flat, gas tank full, I think. What steps should I take to get it to the tire shop/going on the road? New battery and start it up? Should I be concerned about the lubrication in the engine? That is to say, after sitting a long time, will there be anby Hobiedog - Main Forum
