Any other North Ga, P-Car Touring members on the board here?by chris & 987 - Main Forum
I have not tried this yet in my boxster but in my last car I used a couch slip cover to cover the seat and mini bungie cords to make sure it stayed taunt. hope that helps.by chris & 987 - Main Forum

The assessment that PCA is an in-effective lapdog is dead onby chris & 987 - Main Forum
Meredith. I am one of the few in the ATL area that also has a black on black. I will be on the lookout for you and hope you enjoy your new ride. If you need a good shop to do a regular or custom stereo install for you I have a few places I can refer you to that you will appreciate working with. On my box I replaced the head unit and determined that I did not need a nav system to go from work to hby chris & 987 - Main Forum
well said. tesla will make you whole if your car catches on fire. porsche wont care if your car's ims blows. the argument at some point earlier was do you believe that PCA, who proclaims to be an advocate for porsche owners, mission statement is in this thread somewhere, is taking an appropriate position, by not taking a position at all, other than passing along readily available information, orby chris & 987 - Main Forum
If your car burns up or has a battery fire for any reason including an accident and you did nothing to make it happen, Tesla will make the car owner whole ^^^ Assuming that the driver/owner survived the fire, they will make them "whole". WTH does that mean? ^^^^ Just another car manufacturer ensuring they have some wiggle room for their defects.by chris & 987 - Main Forum
A lot of people are giving porsche and pca a pass here. Are you intimidated ? If you answer yes- then you may be admitting that the porsche brand, and it's un-assailable high engineering standards (fallen idol) are now tainted and flawed by the ims issue If no, then your exhibiting and emulating their behavoir. In other words ignoring or poo-poo the issue (because I can afford to buy anotherby chris & 987 - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario I think we have to remember that PCA - Porsche Club of America, is not a union to help its members with legal matters. It was formed to help people meet other Porsche owners and help them get the most out of their cars through activities like social gatherings, Parade, Fun Runs, racing, technical sessions and information. he commented earlier that he did not. intimated that he doesnt offer this because porsche still offers its version of the product. IMHO there are a few shops that do offer these but they are all plain jane plexicrap and the costs ($400+) and quality suck. No demand. No market. Im sure there are differing view but $400 bucks for a small piece of plexi and black inserts. counter intuitiveby chris & 987 - Main Forum
QuoteMikenOH I pulled the windblocker on our 981 at delivery and it hasn't been back in due to how it limits rear vision. The final product suggested by these drawings might be a better solution to what is currently in place, but the devil is in the details. Does pedro or another shop offer a decent priced windscreen kit, preferably glass versus plexi. Last I checked at suncoast I beleive theby chris & 987 - Main Forum

what compelled you to buy a porsche in the first place? We know it wasnt the price.by chris & 987 - Main Forum
the CD article pointed out that the price differnce was double in as tested price and base. I would still pick the p car over the vette. It doesnt even look like a vette anymore from the sides and front. But at least chevy has a player in the game. So for those who can afford the new p car the question may be.. should I get two vettes or one porsche. new vette? not my style, new p car, not in myby chris & 987 - Main Forum
