Thank you to all. I soldered a fuse to some wire (with it's own fuse) that could be inserted into the fuse panel in place of the central locking fuse. I sent power to it via a jump-box grounded under the foot-well. That immediately lit up a few things that must also be on that circuit like the door lights. I used the key-fob to lock, then unlock the entire car via the central locking system.by tsp1dxh - Main Forum
Grant. I am going to fashion a similar device as you described, try it and update this post tomorrow. Thank you. Jlegelis. Thank you also for your help. Danby tsp1dxh - Main Forum
jlegelis, I am just about positive that my 2000 does not have the pop-out charging terminal in the fuse box.by tsp1dxh - Main Forum
Hello. My 2000 Boxster S (986) has a fully discharged battery and a locked trunk. I read Pedro's "worst case scenario" techno lab, but I still don't understand how to access my emergency release cable. His post states that the cable is accessible after removing the passenger side headlight. As far as I knew, I need trunk access to release the headlight. Can someone please help me?
