I run Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the front and rear of my '01 Boxster. They are mounted on Porsche Sport Design 18" wheels. IMHO, they have plenty of grip on the Auto-X circuit and are great on the street. I think you would be pleased with the Super Sports. I got my PSS's a couple of months ago from Tire Rack; they were available at my local Costco, but only by special order.by BER (Central VA) - Main Forum
Sorry Grant. I misunderstood your original question. You were asking about oil pan bolts, and I was thinking the sump drain bolt...my bad! I agree that 37 ft lbs. for the sump bolt is a high torque value. I actually use LN Engineering's aluminum sump bolt that contains a strong magnet. The torque spec on that aluminum bolt is 19 ft. lbs. which I feel more comfortable with.by BER (Central VA) - Main Forum

Very clear and detailed guide to checking and keeping the cooling fans running! I checked both low and high speed fans with my Durametric and found no problems. I also tried your low speed "hand" test...success! Thanks for taking the time to write and post this DIY guide.by BER (Central VA) - Main Forum
Wow! That's one beautiful car Vince. This entire week has been great driving weather here in VA...especially in a Boxster. Have not been through Franklin in several years. Glad to hear Int'l. Paper is back. Bruceby BER (Central VA) - Main Forum
