Cut the wires, the sub is not worth a crap anyhowby TomBrand - Main Forum
At the dealer. If you order the o rings, 5 bucks. It's molded plastic and out of round, so I can understand why it does not seal well. When I had this problem the condensation was on the trunk cover directly over the boot. I pulled up the carpet and everything else was dry. Pretty simple trouble shooting.by TomBrand - Main Forum
5 years and 40K miles ago I had the same problem. The dealer wanted 1K right off the bat, bad tank. I bought a new bleeder assy. 60 dollars, because the o rings were not in stock. Replaced it and not a problem since. 2003 boxster Sby TomBrand - Main Forum
Lift the top back as if to get to the engine, plug is on passenger side. The sub is easy to remove from there.by TomBrand - Main Forum
I have had the Super Sports on my 2003 S since they came out. Great tire and better handling than the Pilot Sports.by TomBrand - Main Forum
I had the ABS light coming on intermittently in my 2003 S. It was a wheel sensor not correctly seated.by TomBrand - Main Forum
Since I have had the Boxster: Pickup truck driver threw out a cup of coffee at me---luckily I swerved, this happened twice with different pickups. Someone spit a hawker on the drivers side door while I was in IHOP for breakfast. Pickup nearly rolled while trying to keep on a turn. SUV was losing it when tracking me at 110mph. I get this every day but from SUV's and Trucks. They always want to race especially when the weather is wet. When I beat them and get in front they like to flash their brights. idiots. I like to stay in front because they kick up stones while they are on their phones, constantly sliding into the shoulder and I don't care for the smell of diesel fumes or oil burners when I have the top down. I haven't use the new one yet, but it's a standard extended warranty that the dealer (Kuni Lexus) sells for their used cars. I like the fact that it is an exclusionary policy. The last warranty I bought from the same dealer was a Lexus Gold plan and it paid for the rear main seal & water pump, 100%, but I couldn't get an extension on this plan because of the age of the car. I have a 2003 S with 30K that I bought from a lexus dealer 3 yrs back. I had a 3yr warranty and used it for water pump replacement & rear seal. It cost me 2,800. That warrantee has since expired and I went back to Lexus. I bought a The Mechanic warranty 4yr/40K for 2,500, with 100.00 deductable which is an exclusionary policy that covers everything but stuff like brakes. I sleep well and coulby TomBrand - Main Forum
